Terms of sale

These Terms of Sale govern the sale of products marketed by www.chopinroma.com. All product purchase contracts concluded between the seller and the customer through the website www.chopinroma.com and according to the procedures indicated therein will be governed by these Terms of Sale.

All prices listed on www.chopiroma.com include VAT. The contract stipulated between Chopin and the Customer must be considered concluded with the acceptance, even partial, of the order by Immagini Srl, which reserves the right to accept the order.

Acceptance is considered tacit unless otherwise communicated to the Customer in any way.

By placing an order using one of the available methods, the Customer declares that he or she has read all the information provided during the purchase process and fully accepts the conditions of sale, shipping conditions, and payment terms.

If the Customer is an end consumer (i.e., a natural person purchasing the goods for purposes not related to their professional activity), once the online purchase procedure has been completed, they will print or save an electronic copy and, in any case, retain these conditions of sale, in compliance with the provisions of Articles 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree no. 185/1999 on distance selling.

The Customer is excluded from any right to compensation for damages or indemnity, as well as any contractual or extra-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or things, caused by the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order.

Correct receipt of orders is confirmed by Chopin via an email response, sent to the email address provided by the Customer.

This confirmation message will contain the date and time the order was received and a 'Customer Order Number', to be used in all further communications with Chopin.

The message contains all the data entered by the Customer who undertakes to verify its correctness and to communicate any corrections promptly, according to the methods described in this document.

The Customer can also check the status of his order by accessing the web area dedicated to him under the "Order Status" heading.

In the event of non-acceptance of the order, Chopin undertakes to promptly notify the Customer.

The Customer can request cancellation of the order up until the moment in which the order is not yet being prepared in the warehouse.

The order status is clearly visible in the "Orders" section of your Personal Area. The order can no longer be cancelled once the "Order in progress" message appears.

All prices on the site are intended to be retail prices and, therefore, include VAT.

Chopin reserves the right to change prices at any time, without notice.

If an incorrect and/or clearly negligible price is published, for whatever reason (error in our systems, human error, etc.), the order will be cancelled, even if initially validated.

Payment Methods
Advance Bank Transfer

If paying by advance bank transfer, your order will be shipped only once the payment has been credited to Immagini Srl's bank account. This payment must occur within 7 business days of the order acceptance date. After this period, the order is automatically cancelled. The reason for the bank transfer must include the order ID, which is provided in the order confirmation email. The bank details for transfers are provided in the order confirmation email.

Advance payment by credit card

For purchases made by credit card, upon completion of the online transaction, the relevant banking institution authorizes only the amount corresponding to the purchase. The amount for the shipped goods is charged to the customer's credit card upon actual shipment of the ordered goods. Accepted credit cards include all Visa and Mastercard.

At no point during the purchase process is Immagini Srl able to access the buyer's credit card information, as it is entered directly on the website of the banking institution managing the transaction (with extremely high security systems); since there is no data transmission, there is no possibility of this data being intercepted. No computer archive of chopinroma.com contains or stores this data. Therefore, Immagini Srl cannot be held responsible under any circumstances for any fraudulent or improper use of credit cards by third parties when paying for products purchased on www.chopinroma.com.

Advance payment via Paypal

For purchases made using PayPal, upon completion of the order, the customer will be directed to the PayPal login page. The order amount will be charged to the PayPal account upon order placement. If the order is cancelled, either by the customer or if Chopinroma rejects the order, the amount will be refunded to the customer's PayPal account.

At no point during the purchase process is Chopiroma able to access the customer's financial information. Since no data is transmitted, there is no possibility of this data being intercepted. No Chopinroma computer archive contains or stores this data. For each transaction made with the PayPal account, the customer will receive a confirmation email from PayPal.

Right of withdrawal

Immagini Srl guarantees the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, referring to Legislative Decree 22/05/1999, n. 185 "Implementation of Directive 97/7/EC on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts" and subsequent amendments.

The Right of Withdrawal is exercised:

By sending a withdrawal request via registered mail with return receipt to Immagini Srl, located in Rome, Italy, at the Chopin store – Via Ottaviano 31, 00192, within 14 working days of receiving the goods. The communication can also be sent by email to: info@chopinroma.com provided that it is confirmed by registered mail with return receipt within 48 hours of sending the email.

Alternatively, you can fill out the return form by clicking on the request a return button at the top of the page.

Goods must be returned to Immagini Srl intact, in unaltered condition, complete with the original packaging, at the customer's expense, no later than 14 days after notification of withdrawal. Immagini Srl will refund the amount paid (excluding initial shipping costs) within 14 days of the date of the return receipt sent to Immagini Srl via bank transfer. The costs and risks associated with returning the products will be borne by the customer.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized. It should also be noted that EU legislation provides that the right of withdrawal may be exercised only by natural persons (consumers) acting for purposes that can be considered unrelated to their commercial activity. Therefore, the right of withdrawal CANNOT be exercised by legal entities or natural persons acting for purposes related to a commercial activity.
